The Norns Ring (Silver)
Inspired by the Norse mythology of 3 wise women( The Norns) who determined every allotted life span, and their names suggest their ability to construct the content of time: one is Urd (Old Norse Urðr, “The Past,” and a common word for fate in and of itself), the second Verdandi (Old Norse Verðandi, “What Is Presently Coming into Being”) and the third Skuld (Old Norse Skuld, “What Shall Be”).
The gemstones paired with the goddesses from left to right are topaz, peridot and moonstone.
Urd ("The Past") is holding a star with blue topaz. Topaz is believed to bring peace and calmness to mind. We hope it will help you to find a way to build a peaceful and connection with even the bitter side of the past.
Verdandi ("The Present") in the centre is holding a star with peridot. Peridot which is known as the stone of compassion. We hope it will keep you calm and composed and keep negative energy at bay.
Skuid ("The Future") is holding a star with moonstone. Moonstone symbolised intuition and new beginnings and inner wisdom.
The wave designed band symbolises that fate is like a river which is always flowing, and sometimes it sweeps you gently along and sometimes the rapids come out of nowhere.
- Sterling Silver
- Gemstones from left to right: topaz, peridot, moonstone
- The band width: 6mm
- Adjustable ring size: EU size 49 -54
Gold Vermeil & Gold Filled
Gold Vermeil & Gold Filled
Gold Vermeil jewellery is made by first creating the base of the item out of silver and then plating it with a layer of gold. Our vermeil is a thick layer (more than 2.5 microns) of 1K solid gold on sterling silver meaning it will last for years. You get the look & feel of gold jewellery without a hefty price tag.
Gold-Filled jewellery (also known as rolled gold) comprises a solid brass (copper and zinc) core over which gold is mechanically bonded using heat and pressure.
The difference between Gold Vermeil vs. Gold-Filled
The main difference between vermeil and gold-plated/gold-filled jewellery is the base metal. Apart from Gold Vermeil, Gold-Filled and Gold-Plated normally use brass, copper, or nickel as the base metal.
For this reason, vermeil jewellery can be more valuable than comparable gold-plated or gold-filled items made with a cheaper base metal or alloy.

Something about Gold Fill
Will Gold Filled wear off?Gold Filled is the best alternative to solid gold which means it's extremely durable and your gold filled jewellery can last a lifetime if you take care of it properly!
However, the harsh truth is, apart from 24 carat gold, all fine metal will tarnish over time. So we still strongly recommend you to remove it in salt water and avoid any contact with harsh chemicals or perfumes.
